Hami's Market Supervision Administration published its first 2026 product-quality sampling notice on September 11. The Chinese city's regulator checked 24 product categories and reported no nonconforming batches. Adult disposable diapers were included under products for older people: three batches were sampled from three businesses in the distribution sector, and none failed the checks.
The adult-diaper tests covered pH, penetration performance, deviations including individual-item mass, appearance, migratable fluorescent substances, absorption ratio and saturated absorption. Across the whole inspection programme, the administration sampled three batches from three production businesses and 51 batches from 27 distribution businesses. Other categories included safety helmets, fire extinguishers, children's goods, gas appliances, sanitary products and food-contact articles. The notice sets out the number of businesses and batches checked in each category, alongside the main test items and results. An accompanying spreadsheet provides the published inspection records.
