World Diaper Organization (WDO) is an independent editorial project operated by Hiroshi Yagi in Japan. This policy explains how information is handled when you use worlddiaper.org or contact WDO. It does not apply to external websites linked from this site.
Information we receive
When you visit the site, hosting and security systems may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, the time of access, and a referring page.
When you use the contact form, we receive the topic, message, and any name, reply email address, or URLs you provide. The submission is emailed to the editor and is not saved as a WordPress post or form entry. To limit spam, the form briefly uses an identifier derived from the sender's IP address; the raw IP address is not included in the notification email. Please do not send medical histories or other sensitive health information. WDO does not offer individual medical or care advice.
WordPress processes account and login information for people authorised to edit this site. The public site does not offer visitor accounts or a public comment form.
How we use information
We use technical information to deliver the website, maintain security, investigate faults or abuse, and keep the service working. We use correspondence to answer inquiries, assess corrections or broken links, and keep an editorial record when necessary. We do not use inquiries for advertising or sell personal information.
Cookies and analytics
WordPress uses cookies for authorised editors to sign in and manage the site. At the date above, WDO has not intentionally installed advertising pixels or a third-party analytics tag on its public pages. If this changes, we will update this policy.
Service providers and external links
Hosting, email, and security services used to operate WDO may process information on our behalf. We do not give your inquiry to diaper manufacturers for their marketing. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the site and its users.
Links to manufacturers, governments, publishers, and other third-party websites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.
Retention and protection
We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to respond, assess a correction, maintain an editorial record, or meet a legal obligation. The form's rate-limit identifier expires within one hour. Hosting and security logs are retained according to those services' settings and operational security needs. Access is limited to people who need it for WDO's operation, and the website uses HTTPS.
Your requests and contact
To ask about information you have sent us, or to request its correction or deletion where applicable, use the contact form. Please include enough detail to identify the relevant message. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information before acting on it.
We may update this policy when the site or its services change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
