Connecting the world through better diaper information.
An adult diaper specialist and physical therapist whose work spans product selection and public projects exploring what these products could become.

The work behind the website
From everyday care to a wider conversation
Yagi’s perspective began in physical therapy and adult diaper supply. He has since built places where care professionals, manufacturers and the public can examine products, design and choice together.
After approximately four years as a physical therapist, Yagi became involved in adult diaper supply, including a municipal provision programme. In 2016, he started an adult diaper business in Japan.
He launched Adult Diaper Information Center Japan, a Japanese-language adult diaper information website, in 2017. It covers adult diaper types, product design and practical use across manufacturers.

A runway opens a conversation about choice
At O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO at Expo 2025 Osaka, 31 models presented 31 designs. Seven diaper manufacturers and one underwear company explored new ways to combine adult diapers, absorbent pads and clothing.
Denim-inspired details and frills showed how appearance can widen personal choice. The runway pieces were experimental proposals; they were not necessarily products available to buy.
Yagi helped plan and run the event while serving as deputy head of the Japan Welfare and Medical Fashion Association. WDO’s article examines the designs, the wearer’s preferences and questions about everyday use, with links to original sources.

His role at WDO
One place to find the source
Yagi selects topics, checks each cited source and helps readers reach the original documents. WDO makes scattered adult diaper information easier to explore. It is not a government body, international agency or membership association.
Editorial transparency
How this work is funded and described
Yagi also operates an adult diaper business in Japan. WDO accepts no sponsorship or payment for coverage and selects stories independently. Mentioning a company or product does not imply endorsement. The English version is the editorial reference; WDO does not provide individual medical or care advice.
