The Social Solidarity Fund of Santos, Brazil, announced an adult-diaper donation campaign starting on September 21, 2026. The city published the notice on September 19 and updated it on September 21. The fund said the campaign aims to assist people who need these products because of chronic illness, difficulty moving or being bedridden.
Donated packs are to be delivered to institutions registered with the fund. Residents can take packs to its headquarters at Avenida Conselheiro Nébias 388, in Encruzilhada, from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The notice lists (13) 3208-8100 as the number for further information.
Fund president Maria Ignez Barbosa describes diapers as an important everyday item for people facing these difficulties and calls for residents' support. She says donations are intended to bring comfort and improve quality of life for those needing assistance. The city links the campaign to three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: ending poverty, promoting health and well-being, and reducing inequalities.
