South African washable hygiene-products maker Leafline completed the Global Export Passport Programme in February 2026, PE Express reported on March 24. The Bathurst company’s range includes adult incontinence products.
The five-month programme was organised by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, with the Eastern Cape Development Corporation as a provincial partner. The report says Leafline’s export-marketing strategy ranked among the province’s top three. Leafline describes using pineapple-leaf fibre in its washable products.
The report concerns export preparation and does not confirm completed overseas sales. The material description comes from the company; this brief does not independently establish durability, absorbency or environmental advantages.
