Fujian regulator reports a failed adult-pants sample in quality inspection

China

Fujian's Market Supervision Administration published a provincial quality-inspection notice on May 6, 2026, listing one noncompliant adult-diaper product sampled from a seller. The item is described as KIMCARE adult pull-on pants, size M, in a pack of 10. The notice gives December 29, 2024, as the product's manufacturing or batch date; it does not state when the sample was collected.

The listed failures concern absorption-speed requirements labelled for heavy-incontinence products and rewet-amount requirements labelled for moderate- and heavy-incontinence products. The administration said it had instructed local market regulators to handle the noncompliant product under the law.

This is the result for the listed sample. The notice does not report a recall or a health injury, and it does not establish the quality of every KIMCARE product or batch currently sold.
