NEN announced on November 27, 2025 an information meeting about a proposed standards committee covering absorbent hygiene products, including incontinence materials, diapers and menstrual products.
The announcement identifies interest in shared approaches to product design, recycling and reuse, and in Dutch participation in international standardization. It invited manufacturers, care organizations, recyclers, researchers and user representatives.
NEN now also maintains a committee page describing this work. That establishes an ongoing standardization activity, not a completed recycling standard or proof that a particular product is recyclable. The original meeting announcement and the undated current committee description are separate sources.
