Argentina's PAMI, the social-services institute for pensioners and retirees, explained a change to the validity of electronic medical orders for diapers and pads in a notice dated 10 March 2026. Orders issued or renewed on or after 1 March are valid for 90 days. An order issued or renewed earlier remains valid until its previously stated expiry date; after that, the member should request a new order from their primary-care doctor.
PAMI asks members renewing an order to check that the delivery address and contact details held by their doctor are current. The notice also describes free home delivery. It does not say that delivery was first introduced in March 2026, nor does it announce a change in diaper design or a benefit for every resident of Argentina.
This is a change to the order process for PAMI members. It is not medical advice about whether a particular person should use an absorbent product or is eligible for the service.
