Attindas Hygiene Partners announced its acquisition of all shares in Italy's SILC S.p.A. on January 9, 2026. The 53-year-old family-owned business manufactures absorbent hygiene and skin-care products at Trescore Cremasco, southeast of Milan. Its portfolio includes adult incontinence products, feminine hygiene pads, baby diapers, cosmetics and pet hygiene products.
SILC supplies retailers, pharmacies, nursing homes and hospitals, alongside direct-to-consumer sales and exports to more than 20 countries. It produces private-label ranges and owns brands including Soffisof, Laurella, Assorbello and BeautyCase. Attindas says SILC's customer base and product portfolio complement its existing northern and southern European operations and will help it serve European and export markets. Chief executive Esther Berrozpe linked the acquisition to demand for essential hygiene products in Europe and North America. The group, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, already includes Attends and Laboratorios Indas among its businesses. It said SILC's customers, suppliers and other partners would continue with business as usual during integration over the following months.
