Depend donates absorbent underwear to diaper banks

United States Kimberly-Clark Depend

The National Diaper Bank Network announced on March 5, 2026 that it was partnering with Kimberly-Clark's Depend brand to distribute 2.1 million pairs of absorbent underwear during its fifteenth-anniversary year. The donation is to be transported in 15 tractor-trailer trucks to 15 member basic-needs banks serving communities in 11 US states.

Founder and chief executive Joanne Samuel Goldblum said many people struggle to afford bladder-protection supplies and that more people are turning to basic-needs banks for help. She described the donation as assistance for individuals and families across the country. The network was founded in 2011 with support from Huggies, another Kimberly-Clark brand, and now has more than 300 member banks throughout the United States. Many of those organisations distribute baby diapers or period products alongside bladder-protection supplies. NDBN says its wider work includes raising awareness, advancing public policy, conducting original research and connecting organisations to address difficulties obtaining diapers and period products.
