Thailand's Department of Older Persons received donated adult diapers for the Bang Khae Social Welfare Development Centre for Older Persons on August 31, 2026. The donation came from PSV Virtue, owner of the Oyakoukou adult-diaper brand, and Thailand Post. It formed part of an initiative marking the month of National Mother's Day, with a theme of expressing gratitude by passing on care to older people.
The department's director-general delegated the director of its division responsible for welfare promotion and the protection of older persons' rights to accept the products. The handover took place at 10 a.m. in the centre's multipurpose building. The diapers were provided for use in caring for older people under the centre's responsibility. Participants included a deputy managing director of Thailand Post, the director of Burapha University's Eastern Science Park, a representative responsible for promoting technology and innovation businesses, and officials and staff from the organisations involved.
