Avgol opens a new hygiene nonwovens line in North Carolina

United States

Avgol announced the opening of a new nonwovens production line at Mocksville, North Carolina, on February 17, 2025. The company places the line within a US$100 million investment serving baby diapers, adult incontinence and feminine care.

The project includes a flexible multiple-beam line with bicomponent capabilities and a three-layer lamination line. Avgol says these expand its ability to make high-loft fabrics and lightweight nonwoven composites.

The announcement records a facility milestone and the start of running commercial products. It does not give adult-only production volumes or establish that every new capacity measure had reached full utilization.
