Bostik describes a hygiene adhesive designed for controlled separation during recycling

France

Bostik’s May 2026 news coverage of its INDEX26 award describes Kizen Miles 9.0, an adhesive designed to help separate components in disposable absorbent hygiene products at the end of use.

The supplier says separation requires a targeted chemical agent combined with controlled temperature and mechanical stress. The adhesive bonds substrates including PP, PE and PLA during product use; its recycling function depends on the specified treatment conditions.

This is a component-development announcement, not evidence that a whole diaper is biodegradable or accepted by ordinary recycling collections. Although Bostik supplies adult-care adhesives, this release does not name an adult product adopting the grade.

Source-date note: May 20, 2026 is the date on Bostik’s official global news listing; the linked regional article body does not display a date.
