H.B. Fuller presents a core adhesive intended to enable shorter fibres

United States

H.B. Fuller described Full-Care 7830 Xtra, a new core adhesive intended to enable short fibres in absorbent hygiene products, in its June 15, 2026 report on INDEX26. The exhibition took place in Geneva on May 19–22.

The supplier says the adhesive supports fibre bonding, core integrity and processing on existing production lines. It presented the technology alongside approaches to lower application temperatures and reduce adhesive consumption.

H.B. Fuller serves adult care as well as other hygiene markets, but the report does not identify an adult product using this particular grade. It also does not provide a product-specific lifecycle comparison demonstrating the environmental saving from substituting shorter fibres.
