Medline announces FitRight CONNECT wetness-sensing system for care facilities

United States

Medline announced the FitRight CONNECT Wetness Sensing System on September 16, 2024. It combines designated briefs, a reusable sensor pod and Wi-Fi-based alerts for care facilities.

The company describes recording wetness-event times, time in each brief and the interval before a clean brief is applied. Its release also describes a trial in one unit at Ohio-based Bayley Senior Care involving 25 long-term-care residents.

The trial account and quoted benefits come from the manufacturer’s launch release. They should not be read as an independently verified randomized trial or as a guarantee of skin or infection outcomes. Compatibility is described for this system’s briefs, not every adult diaper.
