The LYCRA Company announced on May 15, 2026 that it would present LYCRA FUSION fiber for personal care at INDEX26, working with Dukane on ultrasonic attachment of elastic material to nonwovens without hot-melt adhesive.
The announcement describes the combination of a fiber and a manufacturing process, with preparation for commercial scale. It is a different fiber announcement from LYCRA ADAPTIV.
