Ontex announced on April 1, 2025 that it had completed the sale of its Brazilian business to Softys. The transaction includes the manufacturing facility in Senador Canedo, in Goiás state.
The business includes Bigfral adult-incontinence products as well as baby-care activities. The closing therefore affects ownership of manufacturing and supply serving adult care.
This is a completed business transfer, not construction of a new factory or confirmation of increased adult-diaper output. Figures applying to the whole Brazilian business should not be presented as adult-only production or sales.
