CARISO, a Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare startup-support programme, published the results of its first Caretech Startup Awards on March 4, 2026. aba received the grand prize at the final presentations held on March 2.
The organiser says the awards recognise businesses working on care quality and productivity and aim to raise their visibility. aba develops the Helppad excretion-monitoring system. The award is a business and innovation recognition; it is not regulatory approval or certification of a product’s clinical effectiveness.
