Livedo announced a renewal of Refre Hitori de Kantan Sochaku pads for disposable pull-on pants on April 1, 2026. The change concerns the length of the fastening tape, which the company adjusted to reduce movement inside the pants while retaining ease of fitting. Livedo scheduled the renewed version for April 1, with replacement taking place as stocks of the previous version ran out.
The pad is sized to fit neatly inside pull-on pants and is intended to be fitted by the wearer. Fastening tapes at the front and back hold it in position, while its folded shape is designed to be easy to open inside the garment. The announcement also describes standing side gathers that follow the groin area, a mildly acidic surface material and a soft, moisture-permeable sheet intended to let humidity escape. Citing Intage, Livedo says the market for pads specifically designed for disposable pants has expanded rapidly and that these products account for the largest share of the urine-pad market.
