HARTMANN links incontinence growth to pants and absorbent underwear

Germany HARTMANN

HARTMANN reported Incontinence Management sales of €785.8 million for 2025, representing organic growth of 2.8%, in annual results published on March 19, 2026. The company said all product categories in the segment achieved solid organic growth. It attributed momentum in incontinence pants to successful product relaunches and the introduction of absorbent underwear.

Across the group, annual sales reached €2,449.6 million, with organic growth of 2.2%. Adjusted EBITDA rose by €15.5 million to €276.9 million, and the corresponding margin increased by 0.4 percentage points to 11.3%. HARTMANN said its transformation programme contributed more than €50 million to earnings improvements through growth and cost measures. Spending on sales and marketing for new products and US tariff policy weighed on earnings, while material and energy costs remained high. The company also described reimbursement cuts and uncertainty in important markets. For 2026, it forecast moderate organic sales growth and adjusted EBITDA of €270 million to €310 million in a continuing challenging market and competitive environment.
