Daio Paper released five four-panel comics for its Attento adult-care brand on July 8, 2026. Created by illustrator Mari Inui, the guides explain three products developed through academic collaboration, alongside stories about the brand's care philosophy and the background to that collaboration. They are aimed at busy hospital and care-facility staff, with online publication and leaflet distribution at conferences, seminars and care settings.
The product stories cover a front-absorbing pad designed to limit urine reaching the buttocks, a loose-stool pad with three layers: a topsheet, a filtering sheet and an absorbent core, and a long-duration Double Block pad with standing gathers and a diffusion pocket. Daio describes the last design as addressing leakage associated with men's abdominal area, side-lying, contractures and sitting. An August 2025 company survey of 207 hospital and facility staff informed the topics: leakage difficult to resolve through fitting was reported by 65.8%, loose or watery-stool leakage by 54.5%, and skin problems by 51.0%.
