Yuhan-Kimberly innovation fair includes incontinence care

South Korea Kimberly-Clark

Yuhan-Kimberly reported on September 18, 2026, that its Seocho research centre had held the 2026 Innovation Fair the previous day. The annual internal event shared research results and a medium- to long-term product roadmap under a theme of bringing innovative ideas into customers' everyday lives. Thirty poster sessions covered new materials, advanced technologies, sustainable product innovation and open innovation.

Teams from research, marketing, sales, manufacturing and sustainability examined projects and discussed how to turn research into business opportunities. The company cites seasonal products as an example of innovation spreading across its operations: a summer-diaper concept introduced in 2015 was subsequently extended to sanitary pads, incontinence underwear, masks and wet wipes.

The release also describes an integrated development process using consumer observation and data analysis, followed by product design, materials development, usability assessment, safety and quality checks, packaging and design. Yuhan-Kimberly says its wider sustainability programme aims to generate 95% of company sales from sustainable products by 2030.
