EDANA announced five INDEX26 Award winners at the opening of the nonwovens exhibition in Geneva on May 19, 2026. Corman's Organyc Personalized Protection light-incontinence pads won the category for single-use finished products made from or incorporating nonwovens. EDANA describes the awards as recognising technical excellence and design responding to the demands of a circular economy.
Its account highlights three features of Corman's pads. The Smart-Cotton cover incorporates a citric-acid buffer intended to maintain a skin pH of 5.5. A patented Cotton-Balanced Absorbent Core directs liquid towards superabsorbent polymers, which retain moisture and expand towards the body. An organic ingredient binds ammonia and slows odour formation rather than masking the smell.
EDANA presents these features as addressing leakage, odour and skin irritation in light incontinence. The other award categories cover nonwoven roll goods, durable finished products, raw materials or components, and machinery. Together, the awards recognise developments spanning the materials, manufacturing and finished-product stages of the nonwovens industry.
