Indonesia's Ministry of Trade reported on August 3, 2026, that online business-matching meetings with prospective Chilean buyers had generated potential transactions worth US$104,000 across three product groups. The meetings took place on June 23–30 through the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center in Santiago, working with the Indonesian embassy's economic section.
OTO adult diapers accounted for a potential US$30,000 transaction between Indonesian supplier PT Rejeki Putra Putri Eliman and Chile's E-Cibo SpA. The other opportunities involved palm-oil products worth US$46,000 and Kopiko products worth US$28,000. The ministry said initial purchase plans would let buyers evaluate product quality, price, supply capacity and market response before increasing volumes.
ITPC Santiago planned to maintain communication between exporters and buyers to help turn the discussions into transactions. PT Rejeki Putra Putri Eliman director Oto Gunasis said he hoped the meetings would begin a long-term partnership in Chile. The ministry also identified October trade-promotion events as further opportunities to connect businesses from the two countries.
