Japan's Livedo Corporation announced on April 1, 2026, that it would refresh the packaging design system for its Refre adult-diaper brand, starting with products released that spring. The company described this as a redesign of how information and visual elements are organised across the brand, rather than a minor update accompanying a specification change.
Livedo says the packs bring product-identification colours and key details such as absorbency labels and sizes into a clearer visual arrangement. Retail packs use a motif from the Refre symbol, while packs for hospitals and care facilities use a different illustration and lettering intended to make stock easier to identify. The company also says it will continue using a universal-design typeface and introduce biomass-based printing ink.
The announcement concerns package design and information presentation. It does not report an improvement in the absorbent performance of the products, and the company describes the packaging change as sequential rather than complete across all products on April 1.
