Reading Drylock’s adult-care materials and technologies by function

Drylock presents core construction, skin-side dryness, odour control and contact materials as separate adult-care technologies. The sections below bring together the manufacturer’s descriptions and design offers.

Flash Dry: taking in and holding moisture: The adult-care overview describes moisture uptake and retention to help keep skin dry. It does not identify the layer construction, materials or products using it.

Comfort Dry: a three-channel core: The described core has three channels. A corresponding explanation appears for Dailee Pant Premium Plus; its product article provides the named example.

Odor protection: controlling odour: Drylock claims up to 12 hours of odour control. This concerns odour, and is not guidance on wearing time or changing intervals.

Cotton or bamboo topsheets and a cotton-core proposal: Its adult-care offer includes cotton or bamboo in the skin-contact topsheet and a cotton-core proposal. Retail products, markets and fibre percentages remain unidentified.

Skin protection: supporting a low-pH skin environment: Drylock describes maintaining the skin’s low-pH environment. The materials, treatment, pH value, applicable products and clinical effects have not been established.

Soft Cloud: a core described in terms of comfort and resilience: This is a core technology described in terms of comfort, protection and resilience. Its materials, structure and connection to named products remain unconfirmed.

These are not specifications shared by every product. The comparator and test conditions for the “up to twice as fast” absorption claim are unconfirmed. Cotton and bamboo proposals do not establish an all-natural, biodegradable or plastic-free finished product.
