LG Unicharm renewed its Lifree absorbent underwear in South Korea on September 1, 2026, according to an LG release dated September 3. The range comprises regular and long-wear pull-on products. The company specifies absorbency of 920 ml for the regular version and 1,350 ml for the long-wear version, describing the latter as the highest capacity among its adult diapers.
The update adds a waistband that the company says stretches twice as much as the previous version, a stretch front panel, side leakage guards and an odour-reducing function. In an evaluation by users of the previous long-wear product, 93% reported satisfaction with the renewed model's absorbency.
LG Unicharm also reports approximately 60% growth in average monthly sales of the long-wear line, comparing January–July 2026 with its first year, 2023. The renewed products are offered through Korean hypermarkets and online channels including Naver and Coupang. The release places the update alongside Lifree's slim pull-on underwear, tape-style outer diapers and insert pads in its Korean continence-care range.
